Version 3.2 (April 29th 2010)
iPad: There are now "real" (Desktop-like) Tabs on the iPad. The "iPhone-style" Tabs are still available.
iPad: Tap-and-hold on bookmarks in the bookmarks bar will now provide the possibility to open the bookmark in a new Tab.
iPad: The progress bar will be now shown in the URL field.
iPad: Downloads can be now also transfered to iTunes on the Mac/PC via USB.
iPad: Downloaded files can be passed to other Apps, which support the file type.
iPad: Bugfix for HTTP authentication, which didn't save the passwords on the iPad.
The filters can be now also exported and imported
Bugfix: When importing bookmarks, "feed" URLs won't be ignored anymore.
Bugfix: The bookmarks for the guestmode won't be ignored anymore when enabling the guest mode.

Modules feature implemented. Modules are "bookmarklets" with additional features. They can be used for increasing the font size, downloading videos, translating web pages etc.
It's now possible to use the URL field to start a search as well. Just enter "?" as the very first character in the URL field followed by the searched keyword to search the internet. Of course you can still use the search panel.

Version 2.0 (November 5th, 2009)

New "Scrollpad" feature implemented, which can be used to scroll within large web sites extremly fast (tap with three fingers on the screen to activate the Scrollpad).
In fullscreen mode there are now transparent icons in all 4 corners of the screen for easy navigation and to access the Tabs.
New setting to configure iCab to use smaller toolbars to save screen space.
New setting to send emails from within the app instead of calling the external Mail app (OS 3.x required)

In the In-App settings a new option "Privacy/Access control" allows to individualy delete history, coookies, forms data and HTTP authentication passwords. Also the access to iCab Mobile can be protected with a password.
If access is protected with a password you can also enable a guest mode which allows resticted access to bookmarks and searchengines and blocks/hides access
to private data like History, form data, cookies etc.
Tabs will be saved when quitting the app so that they can be restored even with there's no internet connection available (Offline Tabs).
In the "+" popup menu and the link popup menu it is now also possible to open the displayed/linked page in external apps which can open the page (like Safari, but also the native YouTube app when visiting a YouTube video page)

iPad: Es gibt jetzt "echte" Tabsauf dem iPad (wie auf "Desktop"-Browsern). Die "iPhone-artigen" Tabs stehen weiterhin zur Verfügung.
iPad: Durch tippen-und-gedrückthalten auf Lesezeichen der Lesezeichenleiste bekommt man nun die Möglichkeit, Lesezeichen direkt in neuen Tabs zu öffnen.
iPad: Der Fortschrittsbalken wird nun im URL-Feld angezeigt.
iPad: Downloads können nun auch über USB und iTunes auf den PC/Mac übertragen werden.
iPad: Heruntergeladene Dateien können direkt an andere Apps übergeben werden, sofern diese sich für die jeweiligen Dateitypen angemeldet haben.
iPad: Bugfix für HTTP-Authentifikation. Jetzt wird auch auf dem iPad das Passwort gespeichert.
Filter können nun ebenfalls exportiert und importiert werden.

Der Download-Manager ist nun auch über ein Toolbar-Icon direkt erreichtbar. Dieses Icon kann aber auch abgeschlatet werden, um mehr Platz in der Toolbar zu bekommen.
Die Transparenz der Vollbild-Icons kann verändert werden.
Das Feature "Formulare speichern/ausfüllen" unterstützt nun auch Form-Elemente, die nicht im HTML-Standard definiert sind.
Im Vollbildmodus sind nun auch "Suchen"- und "Lesezeichen"-Icons verfügbar.
Die Browser-Identität kann nun auch direkt im App geändert werden.
Neues Feature implementiert: Module. Module sind eine Art "Bookmarklet" mit zusätzlichen Features. Sie können z.B. den Text vergrößern, Videos herunterladen, die Webseite übersetzen usw.
Es ist nun möglich, das URL-Feld zur Suche im Internet zu verwenden. Man muß hierfür nur als erstes Zeichen in der URL ein "?" gefolgt vom Suchbegriff eingeben. Das bereits bekannte Suchen-Panel ist natürlich weiterhin verfügbar.

Scrollpad zum schnellen Scrollen einer großen WebSeite eingebaut (zum Aktivieren mit drei Fingern auf den Schirm tippen)
Im Fullscreenmode werden nun an den vier Ecken des Bildschirms halb-transparente Icons eingeblendet, über die man vor/zurück gehen kann, die Tabs wechseln kann und den Fullscreen-Modus beenden kann.
Neue Einstellung in den Settings um kleinere Toolbars einzustellen. Damit nimmt dann due URL-Zeile sowie die untere Toolbar weniger Platz weg.
Neue Einstellung um beim Versenden von E-Mails kein externes Mail-App aufzurufen (benötigt OS 3.0)

In den In-App-Einstellungen gibt es einen neuen Punkt "Private Daten/Zugriffschutz", wo man History, Cookies, gespeicherte Formulare und HTTP-Authentication Credentioals löschen kann sowie den Zugriff auf iCab mit einem Passwort schützen kann.
Gäste-Modus eingebaut (kann bei aktivem Zugangsschutz aktiviert werden). Der Gäste-Mouds erlaubt nur noch den Zugriff auf freigegebene Bookmarks und Suchmaschinen und sperrt die History, Cookies, gespeicherten Formulare usw. des normalen Modus.
Tabs werden bei Programmende so gespeichert, daß sie im Offline-Betrieb beim nächsten Start wieder geöffnet werden können.
Im "+"-Popup werden nun auch bekannte Apps gelistet, die die aktuell geladene Web-Seite ebenfalls öffnen können (z.B. Safari, oder auch das native YouTube App, etc.).
Das Link-Popup liefert nun auch die Möglichkeit, den Link in einem externen App zu öffnen
